Estelle Pollaert is a French multidisciplinary artist based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Originally trained as a product designer and glass blower in France and Finland, her enduring passion for illustration and papier-mâché eventually took over, and today she devotes herself fully to playful and imaginative projects.
She loves experimenting with new techniques and materials, always translating her distinctive artistic style into each medium. Her creations include giant papier-mâché food, unusual ceramic lamps, chubby glass vases, and, more recently, a giant sausage carpet.
Her art is colorful, curious, playful, and whimsical.
Estelle loves drawing absurd situations and characters, with food serving as one of her main and recurring subjects.
